Darth Dabs started in 2016 with a simple premise: American heady glass deserves a better home on the internet.

I'm Bob. I've been in the glass community long enough to know the difference between a piece that was made and a piece that was built. Every item on this site came to me directly — through artists I know, studios I've visited, and relationships I've built over nearly a decade of hunting down the best functional glass in the country.

There are no imports here. No mystery-origin pieces. No bulk catalog filler. Every artist is hand-vetted. Every piece is new and unused when it ships. If it's on the wall, I stood behind it before I listed it.

The Curator's Notes you see on each product page are mine. That's how I actually talk about glass — what makes a piece worth owning, what the artist brings to it, why I picked this one over the ten others I passed on.

If you have a question about a piece, you're talking to the person who bought it. That's the whole point.
